Seasi is a Naskapi language teacher at the Jimmy Sandy Memorial School and hosts a morning radio show in the Naskapi language.
Jessica works in the curriculum development department at the Jimmy Sandy Memorial School and is a Research Assistant for this project.

Every year Naskapi members of the Canadian Rangers participate in a classroom workshop on surviving off the land and put their wilderness skills to the test on a five-day winter camp in the bush. This is an important event for Naskapi. Not only important for passing on invaluable knowledge, it is a time when Naskapi are living off the land again and the entire community is involved. Families come together on the day the group leaves for the winter camp for a ceremonial prayer.
