The Naskapi have been engaging in iron ore mining for over several decades, most recently with New Millennium Iron (NMI) and Tata Steel. New Millennium has kindly provided two archival photos of employees. The people in the first archival photo worked as loggers and splitters and continue to live in the community but are no longer employed by NMI. The second archive contains information of the staff members names job descriptions at the time. Both archival photos were taken in 2004.
